Dark Neon is a walk-in tattoo studio based in Northcliff, Johannesburg
Experience our bright neon studio, all the creative artists and their artwork. Every artist here has their own unique styles and strengths, so if you're coming with a finished idea or just the start of one, we can help you get it done with the perfect artist for the project.
We do everything from small tattoos and walk-in pieces to custom work and larger scale projects, alongside professional piercings. Have a look through our artists and their portfolio's, or book a free consultation if you're not sure where to start.

Tattoo booking guidance
Large scale tattoos:
For larger tattoos, we highly recommend booking a FREE consultation. This allows your artist to better understand your ideas, discuss the design, and assess the placement and size of your tattoo.
If you can't make it to the studio, we can also discuss your ideas through WhatsApp or over the phone, along with reference pictures.
Small-Medium scale tattoos:
For smaller tattoos, simply send us a detailed description of your idea, a few reference pictures, and where you'd like it placed. This helps us provide a quotation and discuss available booking slots.
You're also welcome to book a FREE consultation if you'd prefer to discuss your tattoo in person.
